Meet Ann Breitner

Founded On Thinking

Ann Breitner has a long history of entrepreneurship in the healthcare industry - she led several companies including a physician search and consulting firm. Ann successfully recruited physicians nationwide to move to more rural areas where there were significant shortages; enriching those medical communities with additional services. She had a keen ability to understand the needs of families relocating through her physician search business and went out of her way to accommodate them. Ann’s ability to connect physicians to the right situation led to a very successful business.

Then, Ann developed breast cancer and later underwent spinal fusion and brain surgeries. During her fight, she had to sell her business. With an always optimistic and positive attitude, Ann refused to let her circumstances define her life. She knew she needed to reach out to others and gave herself permission to accept help.

She recognized the life-changing impact breast cancer had on her and the entire family, creating the “new normal” that she needed at that time. She could no longer do the things she loved the way she had in the past, so she had to discover new ways to do them starting new “traditions.” From her own experience, Ann decided to bring “new thinking” to home care, and Traditions Home Health Services was born!

Ann offers a powerful and inspiring seminar presentation, “The Power of Positive Thinking On Your Health.” At her seminars, she shares her story with residents and staff at senior living residences and healthcare organizations; providing tips and tools for living a more positive life. About Our Caregivers

Joy Ambassadors

Our business is only as good as our caregivers. We seek experienced HHA, CNA, RN, LPN certified caregivers to provide the best home care - health and safety first. Then, we train them to connect with our clients, to actively listen, observe, seek out and uncover those simple pleasures that motivate, give purpose and bring joy. Our caregivers become our “joy ambassadors.” While some home care agencies hire PCAs with no accreditations or certifications, we only employ Certified Nursing Assistants and Home Health Aids.

If clients are not able to do things the same way as years past, we help them find a way to make “new traditions.” Then, we bring it to the client and work it into their care plan.
